Louis Vuitton’s 30th Anniversary Louis Vuitton Cup Neverfull has proven extremely popular at the chic little LV Popup Store at America’s Cup Park.
That is when it IS available. Unlike regular LV boutiques, which stop selling a particular handbag when a certain sales limit is reached, that’s not needed with this tote. Even with daily deliveries to the popup, very few arrive. I’m told many a morning there are women waiting at the door hoping for a chance to buy.
The demand is understandable. Not only is it a limited edition, but the orange embossing is especially attractive against the LV monogram and if you are a San Francisco Giants fan what could possibly be better than a LV bag in Giant orange? Even the lettering is a bit reminiscent of some Giant branded items I’ve seen.
This newest member of the Articles de Voyage Neverfull Series is released to celebrate Louis Vuitton’s 30-year partnership with the America’s Cup. It’s the Louis Vuitton Cup Regatta that determines which challenger races the defender in the America’s Cup Final. Given the special occasion, it’s a limited edition sure to be treasured for some time.
It’s available exclusively at the LV popup store at America’s Cup Park, along with limited edition beach towels and sandals. The store will be open through the America’s Cup Final in September, though I wouldn’t dally if the tote is of interest.
A final note is you needn’t be a LV-devotee to appreciate the shop. There is a little something for everyone and it’s location at the very end of the pier means lovely water views. Need I say more?
